Green algae problem
Not going to say I’m an expert but I’m about a medium ish expert on these fish. I’ve done everything right. Found the right environment, temp, fish, and everything that goes together. Bought a new lamp and algae bloomed massively. Changed the lighting completely, changed lighting time, got a new Pleco, took out all the fake plants, change the filters every other day. Scrubbed most of my rocks. But my tank is still green. Got an algae control chemical. Nothing has changed and idk what to except put them into my new tank which is gonna take a few weeks to be safe for them. I can’t see them. And idk what to do at this point. All I know is it is stressing my fish.

What are your test results for pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? For now no lights and block any light from windows.
