General African Cichlid Discussion • AFRICAN CHICLIDS COLOR CHANGES ARE AMAZING

I am really amazed that my giraffe has been mostly a golden color with the blank spots. That was when a few other fish in my tank were on the yellow to green side. I lot of few of those an After I added a few Africans with red coloring. I am noticing the giraffe has tinges of red in the dorsal & anal fins. No question on this post. I just wanted to make a comment.

Actually, just about all cichlids change color in response to environmental cues; it's part of their charm.

Right. They have always had the ability to change colors which is mostly based on their moods, ranking, environment, and their health.
