Peacocks and a 55 gallon tank

Postby stephenmayer90 » Mon Jun 01, 2020 3:38 pm

Hello everyone!

Here’s one that always seems to be a highly debated subject and that’s how many Malawian Peacocks do you feel can safely be placed in a 55 gallon tank?
We all know a larger tank is almost always going to be ideal. However, let’s say someone can only have up to a 55. What are your thoughts and why?

All male 8-10 individuals that mature <= six inches.

Mixed gender 3 species with 1m:4f of each (so 15 total) if they mature <= six inches. Of course you would never put 3 species of peacocks in the same tank with females present.
