Venustus Cichlid

Postby jgrillout » Fri Jun 22, 2018 8:33 pm

I should look at information about a fish before I buy them. I just bought a Venustus Cichlid. And then looked up information and discovered he could reach 10 inches !. I'm guessing he can co-exist with my other fish until he reaches 3 to 5 inches and then I'll need to find him another home. Does anyone have experience with this species?

This is a hap that is commonly kept, you might want to rehome him now since he may not be happy with your aggressive mbuna. Same with the peacock.
