Home made fish food. What's the right way?

Postby jgrillout » Sat Jun 09, 2018 10:00 pm

I've attempted several times to make my own fish food. I've used spinach, broccoli, carrots, lettuce. Once I added brine shrimp. Once I tied spluria powder. I blended these together in a magic bullet. I added some geltin (no preservatives), hot water. let it sit for 2 hours to gel. None of my recepies so far have worked. I've watched several videos on you tube by people making their own and I suppose it's worked for them. Should I give up or does anyone have suggestions?

so the northfin Cichlid Formula would be fine to feed them all the time? I didn't think I could feed them pellets all the time.

Pellets all the time are fine. Just make sure it's a good pellet. I use new life spectrum thera-A, but alot of people use northfin also.
