Always Wondered...
I've had mbunas for the last 5 years, and occasionally they swim frantically up and diwn the sides of the tank, especially when theyre new..without exploring the rest of the tank. I just stocked my 75 gallon tank with all new fish and theyre all doing it, its always been stressful for me to watch so I've always wondered why exactly they do it..? I tried to upload a video but it wont let me.

We call it pacing and they find it stressful to be in a new place. They are exploring their new environment and trying to see if there is any way to escape?
