Labs with Peacocks and Haps

Postby [email protected] » Sun Jan 28, 2018 12:35 pm

I'm setting up a new cichlid tank and plan on stocking it with mainly 3-4" male peacocks and a few Haps. I love yellow and white labs though and would really like to have a few of them also. Since they're not as aggressive as other mbuna would a few 2" labs with 3-4" peacocks and Haps be ok?

If you do both yellow and white labs in an all-male tank, I would do one of each.

If you choose either yellow or white, you could do 1m:4f of the Labidochromis species you choose.

It has worked for me, but the labs and the haps/peacocks did stay pretty separate. I liked the tank better without the labs.

I've also had it work fine in the past. I don't have any labs at the moment, but still have a ps. Acei in with haps and peacocks.
