Hydor Powerhead

Postby kentc64 » Mon Sep 14, 2020 8:09 pm

I use a Hydor PH in my 150 g Tropheus tank but it is giving me some issues. Lately I`ve come home and found the magnet that keeps it attached to the glass has dislodged and it wreaks havoc in my tanks.

Can you replace the magnets?

Is there a better fix?

My Hydor on the opposite end of the tank holds on fine.

Which model PH do you have? A quick online search shows the magnet supports are available but may not be in stock.

Sometimes the 'rubber' cover or the magnet inside or out needs a bit of cleaning so if you haven't tried cleaning them up it might help.
