fx4 / bubble question

Postby nqsc » Mon Jan 14, 2019 10:51 am

I have a new setup with an fx4 on a 75g tank. Its been running for about 24hrs and I still have some bubble build up along the walls of the tank, mostly at about the same level as the outlet nozzles. The nozzles are about 4 inches below water line. Should I move these closer to the top of the tank, and would that help with the bubble build up? Or do i have another issue? Thanks

You should be able to adjust the nozzle so it is pointing a bit upward and that may help to break the bubbles.

Seeing bubbles on the tank glass or surface is common on new set ups and should go away naturally. I find filling a tank with colder than room temperature water creates more bubbles initially.
