South American Cichlids • 65g tank setup

I am looking to get into cichlids. I would love to house a single green terror or a jack dempsey.
Would a rainbow shark, 6 yoyo loaches and a green terror or dempsey all work? Or should I cut down how many yoyo’s I get, and get some barbs or other smaller fish?
If not, would 2 blue acaras be ok with the loaches and shark? Can someone offer suggestions?
