South American Cichlids • 60 gallon cube stocking ideas

So I just got a 60 gallon cube (24 x 24 x24) and am looking for some interesting stocking ideas. I have been debating if I want to go planted with something like angles or a dwarf species of some type. I am open to suggestions on stocking as I am kind of undecided about where to go at this point. I could do apistos as well but was trying to think of something that may get a little bigger than them.
