South American Cichlids • Multiple male Apistos in same tank

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has succesfully kept single male Apistos of different morphs in the same tank.....and how big was that tank in relation to how many...

From what I've noticed by reading ,with cichlids, the general idea is that the problems - aggression occur when they have formed a pair -

I was wodering if American cichlids' agression can be reduced by keeping single males and/or overstocking - like africans
