Bolivian ram and blue ram tank mates

Postby Mtngoat » Tue Jan 01, 2019 7:24 pm

I went to get a German blue ram and was sold a Bolivian ram. After discovering my mistake I bought a blue ram with the intention of returning my Bolivian. I have to admit I fell in love with both. They are both beautiful young males! My Bolivian hangs out with me, we’re buddies. My blue ram is beautiful and so fun to watch! I’ve read they don’t make great tank mates and I’m also concerned about my aquarium size, a 45 gal with Corys. They like each other and my Bolivian is eating so much better and swimming with the blue ram, who is about half his size. Will they hurt each other as adults of if they like each other now will they likely stay buddies?

If I have to return one of my buddies who should I choose?
