Can a German Ram share a 29G with an Angelfish?

Postby slava2929 » Thu May 10, 2018 9:44 pm

I have a South American 29 gallon tank with a low Ph (oak leaves and peat), about 79 degrees with one male German Ram, 5 rummies and three small corys. The tank really works but I've wanted an angel fish for a while now. Would a fully grown Angelfish and a Ram work or is that too much for a 29 gallon? All opinions welcome.

It would probably work because the ram stays near the bottom. However, angels get very large and can sometimes be feisty. I would add more cories and rummies. Cardinal tetras would also be great (without the angelfish). Having an angel precludes adding small tetras.
