The award for best species of cichlid goes to.......

Cupid cichlids. I've had tons of different kinds of cichlids in my life and by far my favorite cichlid species is the Cupid. My male Cupid Camden is the most mellow fish I've ever had. He's in my community tank and doesn't bother ANYONE. He's not food aggressive either. He's so cute and although he hasn't reached full maturity and colored up completely his dorsal fin has that metallic orange color and his body has a slight metallic blue sheen. He's just so cute and awesome and hardy.

For me it would be FireMouth if you can get an established FireMouth in a nice aquarium they are second to none in my opinion.
