Keyhole cichlid in community tank?

Postby cichlidluvr82 » Thu Oct 26, 2017 7:36 pm

I've got a 45g community with rainbowfish, platies, Cory cats, peacock gudgeons, pygmy and dwarf gouramis and a female betta. I just ordered a keyhole cichlids. It will aero ff tomorrow. I read so much info on peaceful cichlids and I hope i made the right choice. I don't have any aggression issues in my tank. The keyhole I'm getting is sized 1/2" to 1.5". Any experienced keyhole owners please reply.

Keyhole should be fine with that group of community fish. They and generally shy fish.

They should work fine. They can be aggressive with each other though so it's good to have a group.

I have two baby keyhole cichlids now. They are so adorable. Get along fine with all other tank mates, could honestly care less about them. They also get along fine with each other and they have the same cute little habits.
