Hi guys, if I can get straight to the point, I have a 150 litre tank.

I've recently bought a Threadfin Acara, a Blue Acara and a Green Severum. I believe I may have gone a little too much with my heart when acquiring them, will they be okay in my tank or will it be too small for when they get bigger?

Any advice/help much appreciated.

Yeah that's definitely not a good idea. Translates to a 36"x12" 40g tank. So that's a small footprint for the fish and heavy bioload for the amount of water. I'd personally get rid of the Severum and keep the acaras. Or flat out get rid of all of them and stock with smaller species of you want a greater number of fish. If you lucked out and all your fish stay relatively mellow and you are rigorous with your water changes once they reach adult size what you have might work, but the odds really aren't in your favor

Thank you for the advice. Greatly appreciated, I'll look to take back to my lfs and acquire dwarf cichlids instead. Cardinal tetras should be okay with dwarf cichlids?

Depends on the species I think but I'm not too familiar with dwarf cichlids. Hopefully someone else can chime in
