I have recently started breeding a few of my African Cichlids. It's great fun but if I can get any of my LFS to buy any of them I know they are only going to want males. What do any of you do about the surplus of females? I can't keep them all.

You would want to take the female fry out to prevent too much inbreeding first off, and if you don't have a place to get rid of your excess females then you just have to euthanize them or use them for feeders.

Usually the only reason I will raise a batch of fry is to get more females for my tanks. My problem is an excess of males so no problem if I am selling to the LFS.
