New guy here, I searched around but could not find any discussion on whether its good/bad to leave tank lights on all the time. Whats your opinion? thanks

Fish need to sleep, so there is no good reason to leave the lights on all the time. In addition, this would probably lead to algae problems. I have my lights on timers, and they stay on for 11 hours.

I would not. Mambee is right, fish need to rest too, and besides, you will probably have an algae bloom.
