Why are my Cichlids doing this??

Postby catfondler » Wed Jun 29, 2016 10:02 pm

I recently installed an underwater filter system and for some reason my cichlids flock to it like flies round [email protected]@t!! They lay against the intake and just float on top by the outflow. Is the intake stimulating them in some way? :fish:

What cichlids do you have? There are many cichlids that live in high current and just enjoy the high pressure of the water. Many times season changes bring higher currents as well and that can induce spawning. So it may be the beginning of spawning behavior. A lot just depends on the type of fish you have though
