55 gallon tank stocking

Postby Andrew20 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 11:40 pm

Currently I am upgrading my tank to a 55 gallon and I have one firemouth. I was wondering what fish I could put with him in my new tank? I don't have any ideas.

Salvini, and dempsey can grow to be 9", a grammode can be 10"+. None of these would be suitable for a 55 gallon tank even if they were alone.
240 CA tank
125 SA tank
125 planted tank
125 tanganyikan tank
125 mixed african
(2) 75 growouts
(2) 33 longs with multiple L series plecos
35 breeder planted shrimp and juli cat
....and a few others

I read that severums, convicts, rainbows(cichlid), and larger tetras. Would these be ok?
