Moving with aquariums

Postby skinnyfish » Mon Oct 19, 2015 10:07 am

In the process of moving, it gets a little more complicated when there are large fish tanks to be moved. Luckily we didn't have to complete our move in one day, the aquariums took all day. Fish moved in camping coolers, tote bins for equipment, buckets for gravel. I was lucky for having good clean well water at both ends, no worries about chlorinated city water. Once the tank was filled and up to temperature the fish went in, a bit stressed but in general they handled the move well.

Definitely a good idea to plan it out and make sure you have all your bases covered!
