Sump build - Comments welcome!

Postby jpbellis » Wed Apr 29, 2020 8:40 pm

I'm planning for a sump build for my 70 gallon chiclid tank. I'm going to use a 30 gallon long tank. A picture is worth a thousand words, please tell me if and where i'm going wrong!
In the picture each box with a 1 in it represents 1" x 1"

Looks good to me. I use a kind of a trickle tower, but it is really a sterilite drawer system, and each drawer is a mini sump compartment with baffles. Took absolutely forever to build, but the space below my stand is at a premium, and I added close to 3 gallons of media capacity using close to half the foot print.
