Friend of mine has closed his tank down and he has given me a few fish. One is this little guy…or girl. He/she is about 1.5 inches so I assume it's still a baby. I know it's Tanganyika but that's about all. It is very pretty that's for sure. Differ g to my normal Mbuna.
Commonly called "Brichardi", there are a number of types. Neolamprologus brichardi or Neolamprologus pulcher. Looks to have yellow around the face so might be a "Daffodil Brichardi", which is a race of them, but hard to guess if pure.
They get along okay with Mbuna, as long as it is not too small for the other fish. If you had a pair that breed, that would be another issue, but a single one will largely be ignored.
