Hi, bought a few fish 2 months ago at 4cm and they haven't coloured up so hard to distinguish. Paid for a stuartgranti, steveni and baenschi. One didn't make it. Also any idea if they are male or female?
Any help would be appreciated

Re: Please help identify
If they do not show colour, they are probably female, unless there are multiple larger males in the tank.
Lower pic is probably the Baenschi, with the more curved forehead with larger looking eye
Upper pic is one of the others, maybe the "Steveni" that would have a yellow side and a dark dorsal. The name Stuartgranti is too broad to know what colour the male would be... was that fish supposed to be blue?

Oh, there are multiple older makes in the tank. It's actually a relatively successful mbuna, peacock and haps tank. Other peacocks have done well in there despite the cobalt blue and red zebra. Dolphins are fine as the cobalt keeps them in check. Just would've expected these to have grown a bit larger by now and maybe shown some colour. When purchased online I asked what they could sex as I wanted to keep a male only tank. So these 2 were supposedly males.
Wanted an all male tank and started this way but was then sent a duplicate order a few months back.
The mix seem to get on fine, only casualties (Livingstoni's ate them whole) were a couple from the most recent 5 juveniles that I put in, that these two were part of.
Stock List in a Juwel Vision 450:
2*Livingstoni 5-6"
2*obliquidens 3-4"
2*nyerei 2-3"
2*venustus 4-5"
2*moori dolphin 3-4"&4-5"
2*strawberry peacock 3-4"&2-3"
1*Apache peacock 3-4"
1*yellow blotched peacock 4"
1*baenschi peacock??3-4"
2*OB mbuna?? 3"&4-5"
1*cobalt blue mbuna 4-5"
2*red zebra mbuna 3"&4-5"
2*red top hongi 3-4"&4-5" plus 1 baby
1*red top ndumbi 3"
1*acei 2"
1*bristlenose pleco 2-3"
2*peacocks as yet unconfirmed which should be 2 out of the below pictures...eventually... hopefully....will they???

Re: Please help identify
If male, they may be very slow to show colour in this tank, since they will probably always be low in the pecking order. Your other "peacocks" seem to be hybrids, which do better than actual Aulonocara in mixed tanks with Mbuna.
The "stuartgranti" seems like it would be a "Ngara Flame Tail" but with the vague name, who knows. The first pic could be either fish, but I still think the second pic should be the yellow Baenschi.

Thanks for the advice Noki, only thing that steered me away from thinking Baenschi is they both seem to have a strip along the top fin.
Peacocks being my fave for colour, I'm pretty much not going to have any luck trying to get even male juveniles to show colour once they've grown a bit. Might rehome the mbuna if I can find a buyer
