Which other cichlids go well with the Lake Malawi species? And also, which other species of fish do they get along with? thx!

Depends on the Lake Malawi species; for the most part other Malawis that don't look the same.

Depends on the Malawi you're talking about but really, each other. And even that being said, there's limitations. Haps/Peacocks should be kept separate from mbuna. Mbuna should be kept by themselves. Large predator haps shouldn't be kept with small peaceful hap species or peacocks. Extremely aggressive mbuna species like Aurautus/Kenyi shouldn't be kept with very calm ones like Acei/Yellow Labs. Almost impossible to give you solid advice without knowing exactly what you already have.
