Convict chiclids

I have a 120 gal tank with only 18 convicts in it they are all paired up and started laying eggs im notice when i take out the fry they grow very slow so by leaving them in there will they all jus end up fighting i do want alot in that tank

Ehhhh a 120 gallon tank with a bunch of convicts is a waste in my opinion. They probably wont fight 24/7 but when you have a lot of aggressive cichlids in one tank a fight is bound to happen especially with breeding in the tank. If you are dead set on the convict tank I would recommend adding a lot of structure to your tank to break up lines of sights and allow them to set up territories.
