I do not know that fish and it is very difficult to tell exactly just from pictures. However, I would not favor calling it a rainbow cichlid. Colors do not look right but do I also see an odd shape to the dorsal fin as if it has a double?

Definitely not a Rainbow Cichlid. Looks Astatheros, possibly a hybrid

It has a pink belly. Rainbow Cichlids do NOT have pink bellies. Some Cribroheros species do, such as longimanus and rhytisma. They also have the long pointed facial profile similar to Thorichthys. My best guess would be a form of longimanus.
