I have a Tropheus tank57 gallon, with 10 Tropheus in it and was wondering if I could add some Neolamprologus caudopunctatus to it? I like the caudopuncs and have the availability of getting some but only have the Tropheus tank to put them in. Is this doable or not?
It doesn't matter what size the sump is if your fishes don't have enough space, and 36" is too small even for just the Tropheus, as you will eventually discover. Adding anything else is just asking for more trouble. Which Tropheus population do you have? Some are more-or-less OK in 48" tanks, but many are not.
