Lake Tanganyika Species • Buying Tropheus moorii

I am planning to buy Tropheus moorii for my new 70g tank and found breeder that sells fish but the size is 3/4 inch. I am concerned about the size of the fish. Wanted to see if someone bought fish this size or have any strong opinions.

That's pretty small, but if you are getting the fishes from a local breeder, and they are healthy, it shouldn't be a problem. I would hesitate to ship Tropheus that small, however. Tropheus do grow fast when they are little, so I don't think size per se is an issue. Good luck.
