Worth breeding my kavala fronts? F1

Postby Justinfront12 » Thu Mar 14, 2019 11:02 pm

Just wondering what people feel about this. I got some nice kalava front more white Black little blue and got some yellow to the fins.
Just curious is it worth breeding I don't want to have many babies if people aren't more into them
I don't see much with kalava in the hobby likely do to the color or are they just a more rare front.
I love my group had them since a inch my one male closing in at a foot and would never get rid of this group. Just want to know if there could be a big internet in them or just another less interest front. My females are breeding steady with 1 to 3 holding a month from 6-18 fry

You are not likely to make a profit. Check with your LFS if they would buy them from you and how many/now often? With the # of fry produced, most often we hear about saturating the LFS and the market and then what would you do with them?

The front market is a little more limited than other fish since you need such a big tank.

Have any local fish clubs? That's a good place to start.

Frontosa are super popular here in the Chicagoland area. Quite a few locales are always up for sale from private breeders. Everything from Burundi to Mobas

Define "worth breeding" ...

Worth it from a financial standpoint ... personal accomplishment ... what ?
