my 75 $ 150 gal acrylic up and running

finally my 150 gallon acrylic tank and stand that i picked up on craigslist is up and running . 6 foot by 2 foot wide by 20 tall ,rena xp4 emperor 400 and 2 jager 250 watt heaters,with my colony of burundi fronts .and black sand,still not to happy about the permanent blue background but i cant complain about the price. oh and my favorite male fish he's 6 inches long and second in line behind my 11 inch male.

I think it looks great! I actually kinda like the blue background. And furthermore, holy #%$& that male is BLACK! Do you have any more pics of him?

yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!.............. that alpha male is super cool!!!! :drooling:

will my alpha male burundi look like this eventually??... really hope so

i have to say i agree with you about the blue backround big-t.... but so far along the tank looks great!, i love that the water level almos reaches the top of the tank, so it gives the sense of a water cube..jeje :thumb:

Looks great man, nice find. Black males seems to be getting more and more comon.

Yeah he's black alright, Im going to post some close ups of him tomorrow .I heard that the burundi get dark with old age but dont know if it's true , My holding female is really dark also and i think shes about 7 or 8 years old and about 8 inches.The one cool thing about my 11 inch male is he is always active never stops doing laps in the tank and never spooks always swimms up to the glass and stares you right in the eye if you move to the right he follows move up he follows and just looks you right in the eye.pretty cool.

wish mine did that.... the bigger he gets the wimper....

he stares as well, but as soon as you get close to the tank he swims super fast :?
