90 Gallon with 55 gallon Custom sump
Brief Description of Tank
First Frontosa tank. Plan to stock compatible Tanganyikan's with the 6 current Frontosa. My LFS doesn't carry many Tanganyikan's unfortunately. Turned my old tank into a custom sump with a custom made stand.
Using eshopps overflow pf-800 which is plumbed to my sump/refugium. First section in sump comes from the overflow, next the fish isolation section. From there it flows through eshopps foam filter, Seachem Purigen filter and finally through aquaclear bio max filter. From there the flow continues to the largest section, the K2 media section. The beneficial bacteria thrive under 2 huge air stones churning the k2 upź like boiling pasta. Final section is the aqueon submersible return pump.
