I contacted Chip about getting some Demasoni and he responded to me on a Sunday evening. A quick phone call to him the next day and the fish were on the plane 2 days later (my choice on what day to ship them out). Chip was very polite and professional, the price was great, the service was great, and the fish are all healthy and active so far (2 weeks). I will definitely order from BlueChip Quatics again.

I've kept Tropheus for nearly 30 years and have searched far and wide for the right dealer. A disaster in 2005 killed our entire tank, so we took a fish sabbatical and forgot lots of things.
I contacted a dozen dealers to re-stock, searching for 30 Tropheus Moorii F1 fry..... Good Luck finding any variety for such an order!
When I found BlueChipAquatics.com and spoke with Chip, I knew I hit paydirt. He offered several varieties of 30+ fish each and guided me to what I wanted based on my color preference description. Timely, courteous, and not offended by my dumb questions.

Chip was helpful in helping me choose my first tropheus (40 Kazumbas & 40 Blue Rainbows) for my 210. His advice put my mind at ease and he assured me tropheus are not as difficult as they're made out to be. He also said healthy tropheus prepared to travel right ship like "little rocks." He was right my tropheus had to travel from the Cincinnati area to Phoenix, AZ. and I didn't lose a single one.

Chip isn't the most talkative guy so it's up to you to ask all the questions to get the information you need.

I ordered small F1s and they came just as described. They all looked healthy when they arrived and have already gotten a lot bigger with weekly water changes and quality food. They're eating like pigs and race to the glass in hopes of being fed.

Buying 80 fish and having them shipped across the country was a lot more affordable than you would think. Try buying 80 tropheus somewhere else or at your LFS. You would needs some of the government's money Obama is handing out.

It's the first time I've used Bluechip, but I won't buy cichlids anywhere else again and I've got a 300gal in the works!

Chip took the time to prepare the fish to ship, he worked with me on the schedule for shipping and had no issues when I wanted to change my order before it went out.

Fish arrived this morning via Delta. Just a small hiccup at the Delta air cargo, had to wait about 30 mins for fish to be located. 60+ fish were all alive and doing fine. A+ packaging not a drop of spilled water. Will be doing more business, hopefully in the near future, with Chip..

I received another great shipment from Chip and I am very satisfied with the quality.Cyprichromis are not easy to ship and that is not an issue with Chips packing.A female cyp. even came with a batch of 9 fry in her mouth.That is awesome!

I had not ordered from Chip for about 5 years but when it was time to restart and restock the fish room, I knew where to go. The three Tropheus colonies that I have purchased so far have been great.
