I love this food for my central americans. Packs on the size and color but at20$ a bag I find it a little out of the buget. I try to get it as muck as I can. Great food for those who might feed less then I do.
There is really only one thing I can say bad about the bio-gold+ it makes your fish grow very large very fast! I purchased almost all the fish i have now in my aquarium about a year ago and they were all at full growth 6 months after getting them! They got fed twice a day and now its like land of the giants in my aquarium there all huge! the colors i cannot complain about, they are very vibrant and bright.If you want your fish to very colorful and big this is the product for u.
I feed them to my large Oscars in rotation with other Hikari pellets. As with any fish it's up to the individual palet. Most chomp it up eagerly. It's a bit on the pricy side however, even wholesale it's $9.99 for the 8.8 oz bag.
Is really bringing out the colour in my fish. Is definately stimulating growth. I feed along with spirulina flakes and the fish all que up at feeding time!
