Use of this product properly buffers my acidic (pH 6.3) tap water to pH 8.3 Also helps my GH and KH, which are both low from tap (2 and 3 degrees!) with this buffer now proper for my Malawi Cichlids. Ease of use, no guessing. Love this product!
Seachem always makes the best products of this type. I use both this product and the cichlid lake salf mix and my fish are looking great. It is easy to use and the only drawback is the price. Kinda spendy.

"Effective and Consistent"
You don't have to re-add the salt many times. It buffers pretty good and it stays there for weeks! For the use of it, the price is just right, if not better.
i use this stuff along with the lake salt and it keeps my water in prime condition for africans. u really just can't go wrong with seachem. i've yet to find a product of theirs that is not top quality
This is so easy to use and is exactly the same time after time. Keeps pH properly buffered from one water change to the next. Since you only use a tsp per gallon it is also economical.
