I had a Ph issue after I changed around the whole interior of my tank including the substrate. My Ph dropped to 6.6 from 7.2 so i added one teaspoon full and I did the same the following day. Gradually I raised the Ph back up to 7.4 over a 48 hour period. Not a bad product
