"Great quality food"
I fed this to my Calvus to get them into breeding condition. As an alternative to live food,it can't be beat. The smell is strong, when it hits the water, everything in the tank comes out to find it.

"Awesome food!"
Cichlids and other larger fish love this stuff. Sometimes it seems like they just cannot get enough of it. The ingredients are great and this is a good food to color up your fishes. I even break it into small pieces for fry who devour it.

"None Waisted"
All my south and central cichlids love these pellets.
Slow pleco has no chance at tasting any because hardly any hits the bottom of the tank amongst 2 oscars, salvini, blue acara, green texas, firemouth, convict and pearlys. Must be really tasty. The pickest eaters will not let these sink.

"messy"
All my fish love these things. My striped raphel cats adore them but so do my oscars, what a mess! Feed after dark for best results.

"Overall good stuff"
A bit expensive, but like other reviewers have noted, catfish dig it. My fancy plecs come out quickly when fed this, and it is much easier for them to eat than other sinking pellet brands. The smell is quite strong, but I think this may be the reason it gets such a strong feeding response from almost all my bottom feeders (synos, corys, plecs, crawfish). I find feeding it to bigger cichlids makes a mess, as they sift much of it through their gills as they chew it.

"Bad for *my* Frontosa"
For some reason, my Mpimbwe's get float every time they eat this food. The bad part is they love the food. My Kigoma have no problems from it. I have stopped using this food because of the float. I know others have used it with no problems....your mileage may vary.....also, this stuff smells when you use it. My wife always knew when I fed the fish.

"Great sinking food for catfish!"
I have 4 different species of synodontis catfish and they all love this food. This food is a highly nutritious treat for the synos and they only get it once in a while because it is a bit on the pricey side. However, it contains some ingredients that I feel is extrememly beneficial in their diet so it is worth it!
