My fish has a swollen eye?

Hi my Protomelas sp. "Spilonotus Tanzania" has one eye that is that appears to be larger then the other. It seems to be swollen. He is eating normal, and has normal behavior. Should I be concerned? Any treatments that might help the eye. thanks :-?


90 gallon, set up over 1 year, 30 % water change once a week, 14 fish. no other fish having problem. symthoms noticed 1 day. :fish:

As long as there are no other symptoms, increase the frequency of your water changes to keep the water clean which will lower chances of infection (assuming it's not an infection causing the swelling) and will aid in healing. If it continues to swell or becomes cloudy, you will want to medicate with an antibacterial such as Maracyn 2.
