ick or something else?(photo included)

I've had this jewel cichlid for a while now. Recently I added a green phantom pleco. Of the eighteen fish in the tank only the green phantom and the jewel are showing visible signs of whatever this is. It looks like ick to me but protrudes two to three mm from the skin. The jewel does not have visible redness around the spots. The pleco does.

Water Parameters (Temperature, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH and if possible GH and KH)-
What and How Often You Feed-
How long the fish has been in it's current tank-
Tankmates-
How long the tank has been running-

Dimensions: 72x24x30
Parameters: ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate about 10 ppm
Feeding is once daily skipping a day once a week. Sinking cichlid excel, nutrafin algae wafers, dried seaweed sheets, varied amounts of each.
jewel has been in current tank since setup(est 6 to 7 months) green phantom pleco has been in for maybe three to four weeks.
Tank has been setup for 6 to 7 months, tank mates are mostly haps and larger mbuna, a few synos cats.

Water change is 100 gallons once weekly.
water additives are none, (well water)
Filtration is a four foot wet/dry sump system.
