Light Help!
I have a 20g tall tank. I had a light fixture that was a T8 bulb and the fixture had a bluish tint. My tank has 5 panda cories and 2 bollivian ram cichlids in it. I recently got several plants including java fern, polysperma, java moss, dwarf onion, narrow leaf annubus and some others. I removed the T8 ballista from my hood and replaced it with a 20 inch T5 ballista and a aqueon T5 daylight bulb. The hood wasent long enough so I had to cut one end of my hood out to make room for the ballista. I was just wondering since the T5 is really bright where as the T8 isnt as bright. The brightness has me worried will that much light harm the fish? or cause them to be see through? I have included a picture of my tank let me know

Unable to see picture. But I do not see where the light would hurt the fish.

I would say it is brighter. While this is not the only factor do you know the wattage of your bulb/ballast? I have a total of 216w over a 4' span and 21" height.

Your bulb is fine so no worries there. I have never owned cories so I am not sure.
