Identify this Juvenile for me please

Postby CichWithIt » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:15 pm

I guess I got lucky the other day at my LFS...took me a few days, but realized that they gave me one extra fish! I checked over my receipts and there is no mention of this little guy. I'm hoping to identify him...your wisdom is much appreciated.

I trust the shop, they specialize in cichlids. The majority of their stock is bred across the street and sold worldwide...I'm very fortunate to have such a selection 5 minutes from my house. :dancing:

Hmmmm... Sounds like you might be in Portland

That looks like a Fryeri to me too.

LOL

The "across the street" reference was a pretty good clue :D

My LFS owner was up there a couple of weeks ago and brought me back 5 Placidochromis Electras for fixing his 2400gph pump- nice healthy juvies, they're in my 37G grow-out tank and eating like pigs. :thumb:

About a month ago I tried to go "across the street" and check out the Exchange; ended up standing in front of a beauty school? They're totally underground with some secret passage to get there. My Red Empress juvie eats like a pig too...haps love their food I guess. Gotta love getting paid in fish!
