Is this a convict? http://s1168.photobucket.com/albums/r50 ... mage-5.jpg
I get confused by the red fins. Also is it a male or female? I'm guessing male but I wanna make sure.

Re: Help ID this fish.
Looks like a convict. Also looks like it could be a male growing out of its orange. Also it looks like you have either eggs or strange fluffy worm/fungi/stuff on your pot.

Oh that's the sticker thing u get when u buy the pot. Is he mature enough to breed? I bought a female about 1.5 inches. Idk if the female is mature but she's showing orange on her belly.

Re: Help ID this fish.
How big is he?
Also if you want to be sure of their sex, vent them.
What I mean by venting them is to hold them in your hand and look at their nether regions, and you'll see two holes. If the holes are the same size, it's a male. If one is larger (the one closer towards the tail) then it's female.

That's a breeding tube I reckon and if that's 3-4 inches then er I'm unsure if s/he's a male or female.

Re: Help ID this fish.
I didnt wanna vent the fish so I just added more photos. Luckily I got a shot with him and the female (not sure of the sex yet but I'm assuming she is) so u can see the size difference. There are some pics of the female by herself too. Just click the link on my first post and browse the album.
Let me know what u think.
