This is the C.Borleyi about two months earlier when he was just a silver fish with orange fins

That Cobue is still less than 2 inches.. growing quite slowly

i had a female boreli with a male very similiar from the 2nd picture,they out grown and i contributed them,my 75 wasnt enough for such a cichlid

Mine is maybe 3.5 inches right now.. I'm fairly sure I'll be able to keep him until he is fully grown in my 250 gallon

I have one that is starting to get orange just past the gills. So it looks like I might have gotten 1:3.

I was away for a week and was just amazed by how much deeper the colour has become in just that short time. I only purchased the one, it was the last one in the LFS too, I was hoping for a male; this was one of my successes Sadly my more recent luck on buying a group and hoping for at least 50% females has not been so good.. starting to think those Utah springs have chemicals that cause involuntary sex changes!
