can't find any decent landscaping place around my area, so i found this at lowes. is it safe?

Aquarium Decoration (Rocks, Plants and Substrates) • can i use this rock/stone in my tank?

Those aren't a bad idea, I've seen people use pieces of slate that are broken and stack them certain ways (caves, tunnels ect.) another route you can go, although I don't know what your substrate is, I use lava rock, some fake plants and some driftwood. In another tank I have black moon sand and old live rock that I used in a saltwater aquarium I had a few years back. They call it the poor man's salt water. Lol
