here is my tank at a year old. everyone is doing fantastic. only losses has been with the demasoni killing off each other. started with 13, now im down to 9. more were killed but it seems at least one baby survives every round of breeding.

ob peacocks are king of the tank and will be removed shortly so the hara's can reign supreme.

Every time I consider nixing my plan of going demasoni because I think they might be too much trouble, I see a picture of one that makes me completely sure I can't do without them.

Agreed, love the demasoni, best looking mbuna imo. I just bought 14 sub-1"ers.

I found demasonai to be very frustrating to deal with because of their sensitivity to population and water conditions. They were the only fish that I ever had bloat. They bullied every other fish but one yellow lab and one rusty into submission. They did breed and looked awesome, but they can be picky buggers.
