Hi,
I got a colony of chaitika and lufubu.
They look similar to me.
Any idea how to identify them?
I keep them in a separate tank.
Thanks _________________ H@ppy Fish Keeping!

There is an idea floating around that there are mirco collection point distinctions within one so called type of tropheus.
There is a big variation in color morphs found within Tropheus moori "Lufubu." Lufubu is just the name of a river near where these tropheus are collected.
Any minor change in collection point you will get fishes that don't look like the "ideal" lufubu.
Pictures would help. |
