Tank Setups

Hello all! I am new to this forum, but not new to fishkeeping in general. I most recently had a saltwater aquarium; however, I have been out of the loop for a few years now. The urge to have an aquarium has returned, and I brought home a 48 gallon bow front yesterday.

Do any of you guys use the eco complete cichlid gravel as your substrate? I did some searching the web re: the substrate and it seems to be well received by users. I ordered 40 pounds from Drs Foster-Smith last night, so I should have it in a few days....

I was just curious what you guys think of this substrate.

yep, im using it, take a look at my tank.

seems to work pretty well, and I like the dark color contrast with the fish.

Your tank looks great btw...

Now I am trying to hunt down some of CaribSea's southsea lace/base rock. Looks like it'll be a great alternative to texas holey rock.
