Some updated pics

Here are some more recent shots of my75g. Some aggression in the tank, but nothing crazy.

The Elliotti is largets at 4+ inches and quenn of the tank. HRP Leucistic is her partner in crime and they are best buddies. The HRP even lay eggs once a month and guards them.

The nics are about 3 1/2." They are just recently starting to color up. Originally thought they were both female, but one turned out to be a male and they have paired up. I was going to keep just one female and now am not sure what to do with the pair.

The HRP and Con hang out somewhat and are chased by the other fish.

A 2" Thorythys Mixteco gold seems to be a runt and is not growing much. The cichlids surprisingly leave her alone and she eats and seems very healthy.

I also have a 3" clown loach, 3 corys, an albino BN pleco pair, and 6 2" Tiger barbs.

Other tank is a 46G bowfront. Seven Australoheros Oblongum. They are a not very common South American dwarf Chanchito. They are about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2" now I am growing them out to get a pair. They are called Chameleon cichlids for obvious reasons as they are alway changing colors. They are just getting over Ick and then fin rot, but appear to be doing great.

The othe CA is an Archocentrus centrarchus about 3 1/2" She is just coloring up with powder blue on her belly. Peaceful, shy fish. She was in the 75g but the Elliotti was pounding her.

Also in the tank are 4 corys, 4 Black ruby barbs, and 3 Moss green tiger barbs

Looks good. How were you able to sex the Thoricthys (spelling?) species?

Your Nics have paired up? Have they spawned? If/when they spawn can you let me know what to look for in signs of increased aggression/digging etc.... (I'm hoping I get a pair out of my two!).

Thanks.

The Elliotti, mixteco, HRP leucistic, and centrachus are from Rapps, so I let the expert sex them :D

The nics are still young. They used to hate each other and now hang out together, though they still argue a lil at times.
