White lips.

Postby PDX Fishhead » Sat Apr 01, 2017 1:12 pm

A few of my juvy mbuna have developed white lips. One socolosi and a couple mainganos. Is this a problem? If so what can I do about it?

Most likely from the fish lip locking, which is common with mbuna. As long as it does not appear like a fuzzy growth you should be fine.

Thanks Iggy. It is the larger more aggressively fish, so that makes sense. Nothing that looks like ick going on.
